For over 22 years, every Friday evening from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, the radio team greets you in the sweet Romanian language on 104.6FM during the show "Românie, Plai de Dor."

Listen online here.

The show was initiated by the late Constantin Pucu Roșu on March 13, 2001. Pucu chose the show's name and the musical theme, "Sârba în Căruță," and we, the current team, have kept them in his memory.

Over the years, many members of our community in Auckland have been part of the show: Robert Horvath, Bebe Enache, Daniela Trandafir, Alex Stan, Dragoș Radu, Andra and Alex Cornea, Alex Ștefarta, and Corneliu Boar.

The current team consists of Călin Roșu, Manuela Hrib, Camelia Petruș, Cristi Dumitrache, and Lucia Davis. We are a team of volunteers creating community radio, and we appreciate your patience with the occasional slip-up 😊.

A few months ago, Planet FM moved to a new home in a building dedicated to radio at 875 New North Road, Mt Albert. We invite you to come and visit!

"Românie, Plai de Dor" has hosted distinguished guests live on air, including members of our Romanian community and beloved voices like Florin Piersic, Angela Similea, Mircea Vintilă, Ștefan Hrușcă, Claudiu Bleonț, and many others.

One episode from 2021 was featured in the soundtrack of the movie *Miracle,* directed by Bogdan George Apetri—a powerful and captivating Romanian thriller, according to critics, with many international awards. You can watch it here: [Miracle on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cdCeqmx4pU).

"Românie, Plai de Dor" celebrates important moments in the life of the Romanian community and significant holidays from Romania, enthusiastically promoting our community's activities. The show is funded by the Doina Association, to whom we are deeply grateful—thank you!

Our greatest joy is having you with us—on the microphone, at the controls, or as a listener.
