National Costumes for Rent

In the early 2000s, the Doina Association, through its then-president, Constantin Roșu (Pucu), received a small donation of traditional costumes for children and adults from the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant. Over the years, this collection has grown with the addition of a few blouses and various clothing items, resulting in a collection of costumes available for rent at very affordable prices.

The costumes are now managed by Adina Giurgiu. Renting and storing these costumes are volunteer activities, and all proceeds from the rentals are entirely used to support various community activities.  

Rental Conditions:

• A bond of $100 is required.  
• The rental fee for non-members is $50 for the full costume and $25 for the blouse.  
• Members of the association benefit from a discounted rate, paying half price: $25 for the full costume and $12 for the blouse.
